Since 2005, Flavorpill has teamed up with New York's Guggenheim Museum to create a dance party under the rotunda on the first Friday of each month. Last season, First Fridays hosted some amazing displays of musical talent, including a rollicking performance from Brooklyn duo Ratatat; Mathew Dear and Ryan Elliot reeling out some minimal-techno madness; the northern glitch-house of Montreal's Akufen; leftfield hip-hop courtesy of RJD2 and Beans; and a turntable showdown between rockers VHS or Beta and Carlos D. of Interpol.

First Fridays are taking a breather for 2007, though we hope to return with more new, groundbreaking events soon. In the meantime, take a turn through past performances via our live-recorded streams and photos below.
